I actually have two antique washboards! One is an adult version, the other is a tiny ine supposedly for the little,lady of the house with a drawing on it. I never thought of using them this way, as I certainly don't use them for their intended purpose! This would be such a nice way to,use one if you already had it in the family. And you could add any embellishment to,it if you wished such as a ribbon or silk flower... So pretty and unique too!.
