Paper flowers are always a fun and creative project! I could see getting the gals together in an evening and creating these to wear for a bridal shower or the actual day, if you are so moved, and this way you can get inexpensive flowers that won't create allergy problems! Would be clever as boutenairre says well. Glam the, up with a touch of glitter or metallic paint on the petal edges, or even glue a bead or faux gem in the center for another pretty look.
