For $5 and a few minutes of your time, you could have an Easy Rustic DIY Table Runner for your wedding tables. This runner makes the perfect head table decoration and is simple enough to go with many wedding themes. All you need is a Sharpie, a table runner, and a stencil in the letter of your choice, although in a pinch you can forgo the stencil in favor of a hand-drawn decoration. You can choose the first letter of your shared last name or do the bride and groom's first initials on opposite ends, and the whole thing can be made in under ten minutes!

OK, I have to say this is one quick project! If you are in a quandary as to what to bring to a bridal shower and want it to be homemade, this is your ticket. And this is for a very rustic look. As another option, if you have more time, you could cut the letter out of a nice contrasting fabric color and glue or sew it on. Take it one step further and add some trim around the letter, and if you are really ambitious, around the entire runner's border. Fun idea!
