I have never ever seen homemade wedding poppers before but I absolutely love the idea, you can really personalised them with colours you and your future hubby like and put your own initials in it as well as decorate the outside to how you like. This is a fantastic idea! will definitely try this out!

I love this idea so much! I remember seeing a similar project on Pinterest a few years ago but forgetting to save it then. I've heard of people doing this but with confetti made of flower seeds instead of traditional plastic confetti.

One of the best things about these confetti poppers is that they are incredibly versatile. You can use just about any color combination and choose any medium for the poppers. Eco-friendly people can opt for birdseed. You can even color it with food coloring to create a rainbow of colors when popped. While dyed rice is one option, I like that newsprint was one of the things chosen in this project. The ability to use environmentally friendly paper that dissolves harmlessly is a wonderful option for having fun and being responsible.
