Not only are these pretty as place cards but I think I will use them on the invitations also. Talk about a classy look for a small wedding budget! I love the idea. I have gotten so many wonderful ideas here it is going to be very difficult to pick out the ones I want!

How easy peasy is this idea? A lot of bang for the buck because buying here already made with gold edges would be pretty expensive and doing it yourself looks like you went all out but you are being very practical! You could take this a bit further and do the calligraphy yourself with the gold ink as well for a cohesive look! Or use other colors to match up your wedding decor! A variant could be to glue a tiny satin bow in the corner of the card, or a tiny glass gem, or even a flat ribbon edge on the face of the card to further complement the outer edge. Great looking, great idea!
