Materials:
- Clear, shallow acrylic boxes
- Gold, water-based acrylic paint
- Paper plate
- 1' x 1' squares of Styrofoam (size may vary)
- Large gold glitter or confetti
- White feathers
- White cardstock
- Printer or pen
- Gold ink pad
- Animal Stamps
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
1.) If it doesn't already, cut your Styrofoam to fit inside of the acrylic box.
2.) Paint Styrofoam with gold paint. Let dry.
3.) Once dry, place the painted Styrofoam inside of the acrylic box.
4.) Cover the top of the Styrofoam with gold glitter.
5.) Pour some of the gold paint on to a paper plate, and dip the ends of the feathers in. Let dry.
6.) While the feathers are drying, type out all of your guests and their table numbers. Arrange your document so that each guest's tag is 2" x 2". Add a black border about 1/4" from the edge of the 2" x 2" square, if desired.
7.) Print out tags on 8.5" x 11" sheets of cardstock.
8.) Cut out tags.
7.) Using the ink pad and animal stamps, label each tag with the guest's meal of choice. This makes it easier for the wait staff.
8.) Glue the tag to the feather stem with the hot glue gun.
9.) Place the feathers in the Styrofoam.
