Kirsten Nunez is a New Yorker with an unending love for anything handmade. She makes beautiful handmade jewelry from everyday objects. Hailing from New York, she spends much of her time writing, designing, and hunting for new ideas.

Founder of the DIY fashion blog Studs and Pearls, her style is equal parts edgy and classy. If she's not creating, she's probably baking, thrifting, or writing for About.com's Style section.

She believes that DIY has absolutely no rules. Her jewelry is inspired by everything and created from anything; coffee stirrers, paper clips, and other found objects are often part of her designs. Kirsten has multiple sketchbooks overflowing with ideas, and she wouldn't want it any other way.
